StOp ThE TrAsH

It took me a whole lot of effort to actually sit and write today. I’m seriously beginning to lose interest in blogging but there are certain things which I wish to say, like it or not.

All these while, when I was away, I was still scouring the Internet reading blogs, mostly of people whom I do know. Funny enough, I noticed one similar thing among some; I repeat, some of the blogs. Most of the authors are just trying to be someone they are not.

People seem to think they are cool when they tick someone off. If they get annoyed or comment about someone, it makes them superior. It’s fine if they are really annoying but to simply remark just because they have nothing better to do does not validate anything. Or if there is no one to remark on, then they would be either bragging about themselves or making some dumb statements on line.

Bloggers tend to forget one fundamental thing about blogging. Of course, hey, freedom of speech, you can write whatever you want. Yes, I agree but freedom does not mean you can write trash online.

Then there’s another. People who post obscene photographs in the blogs and say they are free thinkers. I recently entered a very controversial blog from Singapore and I was greeted with a huge picture of the male genitals. This blogger recently posted a naked photograph of her and it caused an uproar in the blogging community and also the news, until the girl’s parents requested her to remove the picture. Her defense? It’s an art, an appreciation of beauty. Tongue in cheek, prostitutes can say the same too. Does that justify their act?

If you are a blogger, think first before writing. How could your writing make a difference today? Just like the slip of the tongue, written words, once read, leaves a lasting impression about the blogger and his/her personality.

GRUMPY

Finally i'm back. After so long. Well, haven't really dissappeared for fun. I hardly had time to breathe lately. Luckily breathing is not something to be reminded off, or else most of us would have been dead by now..well, at least i would.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, it looks like i have stepped into my company at a very wrong time. Since the 2 years project is nearing it's final stage, tonnes of bugs are coming in and all are roped in to complete it.

I don't really mind doing the work but to shouted at, screamed at and scolded at, that's the final line. The idiotic man in our department has been screaming at us all to complete each of our job fast or else his neck would be at the gallows. Like yesterday, he said, "if the final stage is not completed tomorrow, you all cannot go back. I don't care. You have to finish it." And he sat with us, grumpy as can be, grumpier than the Grumpy (Snow White), breathing down our necks, waiting for the task to be done..

And we were doing..and doing and doing..until 11 pm..still couldnt complete..idiot went home at 9 pm..when i was driving home, i couldnt even see clearly..down with fatigue..By the way, have been working during the weekends for 12 hours without any holidays for a few weeks too..

Boy..software development sucks..im off to find another career soon..

(p/s: Mind it, dont even think that we were too idle earlier to suffer now..this management dont seem to understand that when we say we need 11 days to complete a task, it means we need 11 DAYS..instead for it..it spells cut cut cut,,so the time frame given would be 5 days and if u exceed, GRUMPY starts 'singing' and 'sulking'..
