Eye Clinic
From conjuctivities, my eye problem had evolved to be infection on the cornea. The opthomologist gave me tablets to swallow, an eye cream for night application plus another eye drop to be applied every 2 hours....which had constrained me from sitting too long on the pc, harsh light hurts big time..i can't even drive in the afternoons.I just hope it goes away pretty soon, not only it hurts, the specs im wearing adds to the pain, pinching the bridge of my nose.
And learnt something during the trip, ok, the worst solution people actually use for contact lenses is mineral water or maybe pipe water, but i have used neither, i stick to multipurpose solution and that, according to the local optician is not enough..learnt a thing or two about lense care the other day, all these while had been buying lenses from shops in commercial complexes, the local guy scolded me when he heard about my cleaning regime...after my eyes are okay, i am gonna religiously follow what he said...seriously..my eyes hurt too much for me to even think about taking lense care lightly...
Anyway, back to the story, the ophomologist asked me if i use saliva to clean my lenses and i just stared back at him, my mouth hanging wide, mouthing the word saliva? And he just smiled and said, 'Well, you never know what people can do these days..'
Ewwww....it had never even crossed my mind about saliva..as cleaning agents for the lense..ewwww....
My next appointment would be coming Sunday, hopefully my cornea is healthy by then..the guy mentioned something about staining and scraping the inner portion of my upper eye lids, hopefully in my next post, i won't be writing something that starts with eeeeeeeeeeoooouuuccchhhhhh!
Had a great day today..tucked in at Pizza Hut and went off to see my Uncle's new home, errr..it looks more like a mansion..huge and lovely...really...gorgeous house, has to be, coz it's worth more than MYR 300,000. And I'm invited to stay any time i want..:) and i intended to sleep on the huge balcony, looking at the stars with my three cute nieces on my side...enjoying the cool breeze..Aunty even said she'll get a hammock for me..he he he..royal treatment ;-)
Spending time in the garden..the blooms are breathtaking, tomorrow i'm off to the plant fair again with mum...
